A day off?
3/18/2004

The Korea Herald wrote:
The government yesterday designated April 15 as a public holiday to help people cast ballots to elect the lawmakers who will launch the 17th National Assembly on June 1.
The decision was made at the first Cabinet meeting presided over by Acting President Goh Kun, the nation's prime minister who became interim leader after Friday's impeachment of President Roh Moo-hyun.

It also comes on the heels of rumors that the opposition parties are trying to delay the elections until the end of May, when the four-year term of lawmakers in the Assembly expires.

Will we actually be getting another day off in April???  Let's only hope!  April 15th is a Thursday, and that's the deadline for Americans to file their taxes.  I don't really want to think about how long it's been since I've filed my taxes.
